 Sheriff: Remains of Amber DuBois found |

(CNN) -- The remains of Amber DuBois, a 14-year-old San Diego, California-area girl who was missing for more than a year, have been found, police announced Sunday.
San Diego County Sheriff Michael Gore said that human skeletal remains found in the area of Pala -- a rural area in East County, California -- have been positively identified as those of DuBois.
Dubois last seen walking alone to school on February 13, 2009.

2 skiers missing at Crystal Mountain |

A search is under way for two skiers missing at the Crystal Mountain resort on the east side of Mount Rainier National Park.
Pierce County sheriff's Deputy Dan Hudson told KIRO-TV the sheriff's office received the report from the Ski Patrol early Friday, and searchers found the car of the two Seattle skiers in a parking lot.

Several killed in Arizona bus crash |

Several people were killed when a passenger bus crashed on an Arizona interstate early Friday, the Arizona Department of Public Safety said.
The wreck occurred south of Phoenix at milepost 173 on I-10 and blocked both westbound lanes of traffic, according to the department, which had no estimate for when the lanes would reopen.
The department did not say how many people were killed, only that there had been "multiple" fatalities.

Coast Guard helicopter crashes in Summit County |

KAMAS, Utah (ABC 4 News) - The Summit County Sheriff says a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter has crashed in the Uintah Mountains.
The location of the crash is about 20 miles north of the Sagestone Basin near Hidden Lake, but rescue crews set up a command center near Kamas. The sheriff says 5 people were on board. One of the passengers onboard sent a text message to a friend, and that friend notified authorities.
